THE STORY OF THE MOUNTAIN SHADOWS GETAWAY RETREAT

SINCE 2006

After enjoying the tranquility of an afternoon sunset behind the Chiricahua Mountains and Horseshow Canyon, a good friend suggested a name for the ranch, “Mountain Shadows Getaway.”

Our guest house opened in September of 2006.  Our intentions have been to have a location where birders, hikers, and folks can have a location where they can base their activities or just sit back, relax and have a tranquil place to stay. We created a front pond area as a place where one can relax with a view of the mountains, enjoy the fire pit or barbeque.

We are not a bed and breakfast. Folks who come here have an entire fully furnished home to themselves. All you need is to bring your own groceries. A single person, couple, family or a group up to six have Mountain Shadows Getaway all to themselves.
